a fitting experience unlike any other

Golf is the most wonderful AND frustrating game on the planet. It brings the best out of us AND the worst out of us. Summit Golf was started because the golf industry needs people who truly care about the integrity of the game and growth of the game. We care more about your scores than your wallet, and you’ll see that almost instantly when you come into our facility. We hold nothing back when it comes to finding how we can improve your game. Our pricing is honest, our quality is top of the line and our customer service will be unmatched.

As one of our golfers, you’ll be listened to and attended to. We will not try to oversell you any product at any time. We will not pressure you into any purchases and there are no hidden costs/fees in anything we do. Whether you’re in for a simple gap testing, a loft/lie check and adjustment or a full bag fitting, you’ll receive the highest level of care and attention in the industry. Every golfer deserves the opportunity to get better without any gimmicks or games. Our primary focus is on our golfers and providing them with the best golf fitting experience, period.

quality over quantity

Although we have a large selection of shafts and heads to choose from, we believe that after a certain number of swings your performance starts to decline and we are no longer collecting useful data. This is why it is very important to have a fitter who is knowledgeable not only with equipment, but also the golf swing and information given by launch monitors.

Pre fitting interview

The difference between a good fitting and a great fitting is the attention to detail. Before any of our golfers step foot in our facility, we go through our "Pre Fitting Interview”. During this process, our focus is on listening to our golfers talk about their past experiences, their goals and if they have any specific clubs or tasks in mind. The Pre Fitting Interview lays the foundation for how we approach each fitting. Once you arrive at our facility we will sit down and go over our notes from the Pre Fitting Interview and make sure we aren’t missing any details or information. It’s important to us that our golfers are given the chance to let us know about any concerns, desires, budgets or anything else.

Blueprint

Our “Blueprint” stage is where we investigate our golfers gear. This allows us to get to know you as a golfer and see if there are any outliers or clues to help us provide you with the fitting possible. Not all companies build clubs to the same tolerances. In fact, most major companies have fairly loose tolerances when it comes to their builds. This can leave you with clubs that are not the specs you ordered. Our Blueprint stage involves checking the loft, lie and swing-weight of the club(s) you’re looking to replace or upgrade. Here we may find reasons why you like one club more than the others or why you hate one club more than the others.

fitting

By this point we have done all of our homework, laid a solid foundation and game plan and completed the Blueprint process. It’s now time to start the fitting. During this process we get some baseline data with the golfers own clubs. After we’ve collected our baseline data, we start seeing how our golfers respond to different variables such as shaft weight, shaft length, shaft flex, grip size, head weight, swing-weight, loft and lie as well as a few other things. This part can be overwhelming to some, but we do everything we can to educate each golfer on what we are doing and what we are seeing. We believe that by teaching our golfers what we are doing, they start to own the process and trust us more during the process.

fitting recap

Once the fitting is over, we go over our final decisions as well as any notes we have. We go over every aspect of the club from beginning to end. Once we have gone over the final results, all launch monitor data is sent to the golfer. Each golfer also receives our “Breakdown”, which is detailed information about the final club(s).

Build

A great fitting is nothing without a great build. This is why we build every club to the specs our golfers were fitted into. Our build tolerances are extremely tight, ensuring that our final product is perfect. This process is very time consuming and involves tedious work with great attention to detail. While you may save money buying clubs built somewhere else, you won’t find a better quality build than what we offer. The build is equally as important as the fitting itself. That is the reason why we go through this process.

the summit

The Summit is our golfers favorite part, going and playing golf with new gear! It is extremely important to us that the fitting translates onto the golf course, so we take this process very seriously. Every golfer is given 30-45 days to play with the clubs and get used to them. There will be a break in period, especially for the golfers that had drastic changes in their fitting. It’s important to keep this in mind during this time. We also stay in communication with our golfers, so that we know what’s happening and can make any tweaks or changes needed.
